James Choi is a co-founder of SabioAcademy.com, and the president of iSabio.com
Dr. Choi has worked as a researcher, a project manager and a group leader at Rush Hospital, Borg Warner, Siemens, BIRL (Basic Industry Research Laboratory at Northwestern University), Aon, and Motorola. Over his career, he used mathematics in many fields including medical imaging, computer vision, risk analysis, pattern recognition, voice processing, failure mechanics, and virtual reality. His four degrees in various scientific fields along with his first-hand experience in applying mathematics in diverse industries make him a uniquely qualified director to provide engaging mathematics classes at SabioAcademy.com.
Dr. Choi started teaching mathematics while he was in high school to help his friends, and never stopped teaching since then. His passion for teaching and ability to bring clarity into the subject bore fruits in hundreds of students in the Chicagoland area over the last twenty-some years. He has produced many "miracle" stories where a C student became an A student within just a few months, allowing for their acceptance into a prestigious university.
